I am a husband, father, and artist.  While my training is in drawing and illustration, I have come to think of myself as a printmaker, and specifically a relief artist.

My passions are nature and this beautiful country surrounding my home of Calgary.  The untamed ruggedness of the landscape and the wildlife that calls this place home.

My work is a direct attempt to create a descriptive visual language to interpret the beauty and juxtaposition of patterns found in nature and to rectify it against the very organic nature that hides patterns and symmetries (we just need to look for them).  I attempt to do this through my love of line-work and movement.  This is how I choose to honour my subject.
