Susanah Windrum is a practicing visual artist who lives in Calgary, AB. Her formal education includes a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Emily Carr University of Art and Design in Vancouver, B.C. and a Theatre Arts Diploma from Mount Royal University in Calgary, AB. Susanah has also taken many Jewellery and Metal courses and workshops at Alberta University of the Arts and Red Deer College.
She has been fortunate enough to study with a variety of extremely talented and giving artists including Paul Leathers, Crys Harse, Shona Rae, Joan Irvin, Richard Salley and Keith Lo Bue. Each of these artist instructors has provided Susanah with new skills and techniques, as well as encouragement to forge her own creative path.
All of these artistic directions mesh in her current work in which recycled and post-consumer metal is turned into whimsical pieces of art full of character and personality.
