Lizanne's interest is in the human body and all of humanity. Her intuitive work is based on the dream world, lucid thoughts and the 'other side'- an inquiry into the supernatural, spiritual world.

From mountain to prairie landscapes, forests, flowers, food, friends, bits and pieces of nature and wherever the paint and brush lead her, Karin creates unique and beautiful works of art.
I layer paint, use collage, make marks, and use tools to scratch and sand my work to reveal unexpected surprises throughout the layers.
I'm partial to Alberta's wildflowers; I love their resilience and beauty. How are they able to grow and be brilliant on the dry, windy Alberta prairies, or on the side of a busy highway? They are amazing, their resilience reminds me of what humans are capable of.
Art has been at the core of everything Carla does—from visual arts, to music, to design—there were a multitude of hours in her childhood spent drawing, taking art classes and attending music lessons. Her formal education and career in graphic design has greatly informed her approach to both colour and composition in her paintings today.
